Recent U.S. Poll Names Hyundai Sonata Car of the Year

Members of Drive On, USA Today's online auto community voted
the Hyundai Sonata sedan the 2011 Car of Year. The poll, driven by
America's largest print newspaper, shows that the Sonata received
over twice as many votes of the Chevrolet Volt and over nine times
as many votes as the Nissan Leaf. The Hyundai Sonata is the
best-selling Korean car in the U.S. with over 200,000 sold in North
America in 2010. The factors cited as fueling the Sonata's success
in USA Today's poll are punctuated style, fuel efficiency, and
value. It should also be noted that the Hyundai Sonata has been
named one of three finalists for the North American Car of the
